Fifty-one “Murals of Hope” (42 commissioned and 9 Emanuel Project inspired) have been completed in juvenile detention facilities throughout the U.S. Over 32,672 square feet of mural space has been painted by students alongside Emanuel Martinez since the program began in January 2011.
